Quail Members and Pro lead NDCL in State Golf Tournament

Quail Hollow would like to congratulate a few of our younger members who helped lead the NDCL girls golf team to a third place place finish in the OHSAA Division II State Golf Tournament this past Friday-Saturday, October 10-11.  The team finished with a two day total of 688 on the Gray Course at the Ohio State University Golf Club.

The team was led by Quail Hollow member and NDCL senior Olivia Jereb, who fired 73-76 for a two day total of 149 which was good enough for fifth place in the tournament individually.  She will move on to play for Ashland University next year, joining her sister Emily.  Also helping the NDCL ladies were members Kelsey Walton and Nora Nelson, who will both rejoin the team again next year.

We would also like to congratulate our own Toni DeSanto, who coached NDCL freshman Charlie Toman to an individual state title in the boys Division II State Golf Tournament.  In his very first year, Charlie shot rounds of 74-79 on the Scarlet Course at Ohio State and took Medalist honors in the tournament.  What a talent to have for the next three years!

Quail Hollow is proud to have so many juniors come up through our junior programs and go on to enjoy and have success in the game of golf.  Congratulations ladies, Charlie, and Toni! We look forward to many more congratulatory posts like this in the future!
