The hole in one's keep coming!  On Thursday, Barb Gorka aced the 16th hole on the Weiskopf course knocking in a 9 iron from 83 yards!  Keep the great shots coming!

New stakes on the golf course.

If you are playing golf this weekend, you will probably notice these new black stakes on the courses near the cart path. These stakes are indicators of where the golf carts may enter the fairway, and where they will need to return to the path. They will take place of the cart arrow signs that were typically placed in the fairways near the greens. We will be communicating this through the starters and in the golf shop over the next week.

A visit from the Big Z

It seems Zydrunas Ilgauskas is enjoying retirement. If anyone happens to pick up a 40 inch wedge on the Weiskopf, you'll know who it belongs to!

Hole In One

Congratulations to Jim Raimondo for making a hole in one Memorial Day Monday! He aced #11 Devlin with a pitching wedge from 121 yards. This was his second ever. Don Cirino, Art Cefaratti and Dave Turban were playing with him.

Range closed from 12-4 today

Because of the holiday weekend, the range will be closed today from 12-4 for maintenance as is the normal procedure for Mondays. We will open it back up as soon as maintenance is completed. 

Summer Rates Beginning 5-24

We will be moving to our IN-Season rates for Guest of Members beginning this Saturday, May 24.  The rates are shown as follows.  Please note the Weekend Guest Twilight rate will begin at 12 noon this season!

Cart Fees (per rider):
18 holes - $22
9 holes - $13

Greens Fees:
Guest 18 holes (weekday) - $50
Guest 9 holes (weekday) - $20
Guest 18 holes (weekend before 12 pm) - $60
Twilight Guest (after 2 pm weekdays, 12 pm weekends) - $30
Junior Guest (17 and under) - $20

Quail Hollow Welcomes Jordan Hardey

QHCC welcomes Jordan Hardey to our professional golf staff as our newest Assistant Golf Professional. Jordan has been a golf professional for 4 years and is currently a PGA apprentice perusing his Class A certification. Jordan worked at one of our properties in Leesburg, VA at The River Creek Club for the past few years. He was born and raised in Richmond, VA and attended school for golf management in Myrtle Beach. We look forward to adding his experience and professionalism to our team. Next time your at the club, please stop by and welcome him to Quail Hollow!

Hole - in - One!

Yet another hole in one at Quail Hollow!  Terry Cox had her first ever today on the par 3 7th on the Weiskopf Course.  She used a 6 iron from 115 yards. Congratulations!

Lady Quail Results

Congratulations to Giselle Felice and Diane Ritchie, winners if the 2014 Lady Quail on Sunday, May 18. They scored 47 points in this two-player stableford event and win by two points. Thanks to all the ladies that participated!

MGA Quail Results

It was another cloudy and cold tough day for the 54 players in the MGA Quail Tournament this morning.  The results are in, and it was a very tight race for the top position.  Congratulations to Steve Anderson who took home the title this year with 35 points in the Stableford format.  The results have also been updated to the MGA page here on the blog and are posted in the Men's Locker room.  Thanks to everyone who played!

Congratulations Tony Milam!

Congratulations to Quail Hollow and Northern Ohio PGA member Tony Milam for winning the 29th Ohio Senior Open Championship at Firestone Country Club earlier today. Tony shot a bogey-free five under 65 yesterday and was declared champion after the second round was cancelled due to weather. Congratulations Tony!

Olle Karlstrom also posted a top-15 finish with a 72 yesterday. Overall a very good showing from Quail Hollow! 

Course status 5-15-14

Both courses have received a heavy amount of rainfall in the past two days that they will be Cart Path Only with No Blue Flags today. 

Also, keep an eye on Olle playing in the second round of the Ohio State Senior Championship at Firestone today. He was tied for 13th out of 69 players after a 72 in the first round. Good Luck Olle!

Men's Night cancelled 5-14

Probably not a huge surprise, but Men's night will be cancelled tonight due to weather. We're assuming no one wants to play in hail!

Another Hole in One!

Jim Klingenberg made a Hole in One today on #3 Weiskopf! He hit a 4 iron from 160 yards. This was his second ever. Keep those great shots coming.

LGA Ladies League Begins

We welcome the ladies of the LGA back today with the start of league play. We had a beautiful morning and saw a lot of smiling faces. Here's to another great season!

Mother nature is still having trouble keeping up with the time this year, but it looks like we may start to get a break as the week progresses.  Both courses are open today and are still cart path only.

As we are into May now, golf programming and events are starting to get under way. Take a look at some of the events starting this week:

Weiskopf will again be the member course today until 11 am when the Devlin opens. Courses are still cart path only. Remember that Adams Golf will be out on the range tomorrow from 11-3 for a demo day. Stop by and learn to own the second shot with the latest equipment from Adams golf!

Course Status 5-1-14

The Weiskopf course will be cart path only with no blue flags today as the course is still very wet from the over half inch of rain yesterday.  The Devlin course will open at noon and will also be cart path only.  The range is open all day until 7:00.
