Quail Hollow Opening Day Mixer
May 4, Sunday / Time: 9am SG / Meal: Lunch / Cost: TBD
Format will be an ABCD shamble. This event is open to all male and female golfers. Pairings will be mixed with men and women on each 4-person team.
Acura Pinehurst Team Qualifier
May 24 – Devlin May 25 – Weiskopf / AM Tee Times / Cost: $40 Player
Sign up as a team for either qualifying day. The format is a shamble based quota system. Information is posted in the locker rooms and in the Golf Shop. Qualifying teams will play in the finals held July 26th and 27th. The winning team goes on to Pinehurst, N.C. to compete in the National Tournament.
Adios Mayo Couples Event
May 30, Friday / Time: 5:45 SG / Meal: Dinner / Cost: $50 per couple
This is a couple’s event open to all golf members. Format will be a four-person team scramble. Couples will be paired at random. Mexican style theme dinner. Field will be limited to the first 30 couples to sign up.
Men’s Half Day Member / Guest
June 5, Thurs / 1:30 pm SG / Meal: Lunch & Dinner / Cost: $140/Team
This event is for all Golf Members and their Guests. You can sign up as a two-man team or foursomes comprised of two two-man teams. Bring a customer, a colleague and have a relaxing fun day golfing. We are going to have beer and beverages on the course. In addition to the two-man best ball, we will have pin shots, long drives, longest putt, shortest drive, beat the Pro, closest in three, skins game, etc.
Junior Tee-Off Party
June 8, Sunday / 4:00 pm – @ old range / Cost: $100 per child
QUAIL HOLLOW GOLF MEMBERS. This event kicks off our summer junior program. Fun, games, and prizes for all the kids. The junior program is for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 17. Bring your Mom, Dad and your brother or sister! We will have a putting contest, prizes and golf clinic. Also, meet the teaching staff!
Couples Event
June 14, Saturday / Time: 1:30pm SG / Meal: dinner / Cost: TBD
This 18 – hole Saturday afternoon couple’s event is open to all golf members. You can bring another couple as your guest or be paired with another Quail Hollow couple.
Firecracker Tournament
July 4, Friday / Tee Times / $10 per player
This is an individual tournament open to QHCC men and women with an established handicap. Sign up at the first tee where you will receive a flag with your name and handicap. The goal is to finish your round of golf, subtract your handicap and equal par. If your score (less your handicap) equals par prior to finishing 18 holes, plant your flag where your last shot comes to rest. If you finish 18 holes and your score is lower than par (less your handicap), go to the putting green where a special course will be set up to use your final strokes. Whoever goes the farthest is the winner. Participants will make their own tee times until 2 pm.
Acura ClubCorp Champions Classic Finals
July 26-27 / AM Tee Times / Meal: No / Entry Fee: TBD
This is the finals for the qualifying teams. The winning team will represent Quail Hollow at Pinehurst Country Club in North Carolina!
Couples 9 & Wine
August 1, Friday / Time: 5:45 SG / Meal: Dinner / Cost: TBD
Our second couples event of the year. Wine theme dinner and format. Field will be limited to the first 30 couples.
Men’s Member Guest Classic
August 7 – 9 / Cost: $725 per team
This is the premier showcase event of the year. Three days of golf highlighted by the Saturday Night Awards Dinner and Dance. Details are available in the Golf Shop.
Men’s Club Championship
August 16-17, Sat & Sun / AM Tee Times / Meal: No / Cost: $45
Open to any Quail Hollow male Golf Member. Sign up as an individual. Pairings and flights are based on your handicap. Format is stroke play over 36 holes.
Senior Club Championship
Sept 30, Saturday / 10am TT / Meal: Light Dinner / Entry Fee: $45
Open to any Quail Hollow male Golf Member 55 and older. Sign up as an individual. Pairings and flights are based on your age. Format is 18 - hole stroke play.
Silver Quail Cup (Team Play vs. Silver Lake Country Club)
Oct 11,12 Sat & Sun / Tee Times / Meal: TBD / Cost: Free
Did you know that you may be in contention to win the Silver Quail Cup? The Silver Quail began in 2002 as a fun way to get two ClubCorp courses together for some friendly competition. The Silver Quail Cup team is comprised of (2) golf professionals, (6) men and (4) women. The format is a challenge match against Silver Lake Country Club over two days. Qualifier’s will come from the LGA and MGA Points List.
