We've seen the sun again! It's windy, but the Weiskopf course is open for cart path only.

Both courses have been closed due to weather today. Wind and rain have caused the courses to be unplayable. Hoping for some better weather for the weekend!

Frost update

Tee times began at 8:30 this morning and we are catching up fast. We are looking to be back on schedule by 10:00 am

4-27-14 Frost Delay

There will be about an hour frost delay on tee times for today. Once we get under way, both courses will be 90 degrees EXCEPT for 4, 8, and 12 on Weiskopf and 2-3 on Devlin, which will remain cart path only for the time being. 

MGA Memorial Results

The results for this morning's MGA Memorial Tournament have been updated to the MGA page here on the blog.  As we continue the tournament season, we will continue to update the page with the results for all tournaments.  Congratulations to Lance Hauserman, Bob White, Mike Zappitello, and George Thomas for taking home the 2014 Memorial title!

MGA Memorial

The MGA season got underway this morning with the playing of the Memorial.  The Weiskopf course is in great shape and will provide a great test for the players. 

Ladies Clinic Cancelled 4-23

Tonight's Ladies Clinic has been cancelled due to the cold weather.  We will begin the lesson series next week.  Tomorrow's clinic is still on as scheduled. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

There are still spots available for these clinics! One spot remains open for both 6:00 pm sessions on Wed/Thurs and the 10:30 am on Thursday still has a lot of availability.  Call the golf shop to get signed up! (440) 639-4000

Course/Range status 4/22

Due to the rain, the Weiskopf course has moved back to Cart Path Only today. The Devlin course is still closed for aerification. The range will also be closed until 11 a.m. for a maintenance project. 

Correction to upcoming events post

We made a mistake! The upcoming MGA Individual Match Play first round matches are on MAY 10, NOT MAY 3 as stated in the last post and email. We apologize for the mistake.

It's a beautiful Monday here at Quail! The Devlin course aerification is underway, and the Weiskopf course is open at 90 degree cart rules.  Hope to see you out here!

Devlin Course Aerification

This Monday-Wednesday the Devlin golf course will be closed for aerification.  The Weiskopf course will open at 9:00 a.m. on those days.

Saturday, April 19th Course Update

Easter weekend will begin with a short frost delay this morning. The first tee time will be at 8am. We also have our fitting day at the driving range beginning at 10:30. We hope to see everyone out today!

Good Friday at Quail

It will be cart path only on the Weiskopf starting at 8am with the Devlin opening at 11am. The driving range will open at 7:45 am.  Don't forget our fitting day tomorrow at 10:30!

Saturday Fitting Day!

This Saturday, April 19th, we will be having a fitting day on the range from 10:30 - 3:00. Come out and try out the latest equipment for 2014 from Titleist, Taylormade, and Ping. The professional staff will be available to help you find the equipment that best fits your game. Woods, irons, wedges, and putters will be available to try!

Course Status 4-16-14

Both courses will remain closed today as there is still heavy snow cover on a few holes.  We are expecting the courses to be open again by tomorrow around 12 noon, but will know more as the day progresses.  We will update you immediately if expectations for tomorrow change.

LGA Spring Mixer

The LGA Spring Mixer is going on at the clubhouse tonight! It's great to see everyone again, and we're looking forward to a great season!

Titleist Trial Sets now in the Shop

New Titleist Trial Sets are now available in the golf shop! These sets are available to demo on the course or the range and consist of 913 woods, AP1 or AP2 irons, and SM5 wedges. Stop in the golf shop to sign them out for personal testing.

Course Update for April 12th

It's a perfect  day for golf with both courses open for play today. It will be cart path only on the Devlin and Weiskopf.  The driving range is open so come out and enjoy the great weather!

Range Open! - Hours of Operation

The range is now officially open! 

The range will open a half hour before the day's first tee time and will close an hour before dark. On Mondays, the range will be closed between 12-4 pm for range maintenance. 

Course Update for Friday April 11th

As of 9am this morning, the courses have received an inch of rain. As a result, the Weiskopf course will be closed until noon. The driving range will be closed until we can evaluate it this afternoon. 

Weekend Update

With the weather looking, we have made some updates to the course and driving range status for the the weekend. The driving range will be set to open tomorrow (Friday) at 10 am.  The courses will be as follows:

Friday -      Weiskopf only - cart path only

Saturday -  Both courses - cart  path only

Sunday -    Both courses - cart path only

Tee times will begin at 8:00 on Weiskopf and 9:00 on the Devlin both Saturday and Sunday. 

Thursday April 10

The Weiskopf Course is open. Cart path Only. The driving range is being prepared and will open on Friday.

Tuesday update

Rain has hindered our opening of the courses today. Standing water on the greens will keep us closed today. I am assigning weekend tee times in the lottery draw for the Weiskopf Course Saturday and Sunday.

Course Status 4-7-14 and The Week Ahead

It was great to see a lot of you out here yesterday! The Weiskopf course is open again today for walking and cart path only.  As we transition into the season, weekday tee times will begin at 9:00 am. weather permitting.  Weekday times can be made up to 14 days in advance and can be made through the ClubCorp member page that is linked at the top right of the blog. Times for the weekend will be done through the lottery system starting this weekend and will begin at 8:04 am on the Weiskopf golf course.  The lottery times will be drawn on Tuesday.  It is our expectation to have the driving range open before this coming weekend, but again is weather permitting.  We will continue keep you updated here on both course status changes and the driving range.

Sunday April 6 Course Update

It's a little chilly this morning!  We currently have heavy frost on the course at this time. We will allow the first groups to tee time off at 9:45 am. It will be cart path only on the Weiskopf course. With a high around 53 today it will be a great day for golf!

Saturday April 5 Golf Update

What a great morning! The Weiskopf Course will be open this weekend, breakfast with the Easter Bunny and a refreshing wind blowing - we did get two golfers out on the course!

2014 Men's Member Guest Classic

The 2014 Men's Member/Guest Classic has filled up fast, but a few spots are still available!  This year's Classic will be held August 7-9. Practice rounds and stag dinner will be Thursday, with tournament rounds following on Friday-Saturday. The field is limited, so call the golf shop to sign up!

Opening Day!

The season is officially under way today! All 18 of the Devlin Course are open for play today. Carts will be cart path only until we see some dryer conditions.
