Pinehurst Finals update and a Hole in One!

Nine teams teed off for Round 1 of the Acura Champions Classic yesterday, and it's a tight race for the top spot going into the final round!  Going by the quota system, teams with the highest differential from their quota were as follows:

Coode - Bednar - Tommasone - Conforte              +15

Balsom - Langal - Marthe - Fracci                          +18

Hanzak - Evans - Waterwash - Turk                       +20

Greben - Raimondo - Marciano - Palazzo               +21

Dinunzio - Manno - Aquila - Huster                        +23

The leaders were helped immensely when Kevin Huster's 7-iron on Hole 15 of the Devlin course found the bottom of the cup for an ace!  As the tournament is a shamble format, that one swing gave his team a solid 12 points on one hole.  Congratulations Kevin!
