Junior Hole in One on a Par 4!

Congratulations to Michael Bednar on making his first Hole In One today during the Jr. Club Championship! He aced the Par 4 #13 from 155 Yards of Devlin! Not too many people can say their first ace was on a Par 4, but you can!

I think that deserves a raise in the allowance category mom and dad!   :)

Adidas Shoe Trade-In Program - Final Week

This is the final week for the Adidas Shoe Trade-In Promotion. Bring in your old golf shoes and trade them in for $25 towards a new pair of Adidas or Ashworth shoes! Old shoes can be any brand/style/condition. Limit of one $25 credit per new pair of shoes. 

Pinehurst Qualifier Champions

Congratulations to the team of Mike Manno, AJ Dinunzio, Kevin Huster, and Pat Aquila for winning the Acura Champions Classic Pinehurst qualifier this past weekend. The team racked up 171 points over two days to beat their quota by a margin of 35 1/2 points. They will represent Quail Hollow and compete against other Clubcorp club teams at Pinehurst in September. Congratulations guys! 

Pinehurst Finals update and a Hole in One!

Nine teams teed off for Round 1 of the Acura Champions Classic yesterday, and it's a tight race for the top spot going into the final round!  Going by the quota system, teams with the highest differential from their quota were as follows:

Hanzak - Evans - Waterwash - Turk                       +20

The leaders were helped immensely when Kevin Huster's 7-iron on Hole 15 of the Devlin course found the bottom of the cup for an ace!  As the tournament is a shamble format, that one swing gave his team a solid 12 points on one hole.  Congratulations Kevin! 

Ohio senior champion

Congratulations to Dick Homovec on winning the Ohio Super Senior Lefty championship. He shot 77 - 74. All of Quail Hollow is very proud of you!

Hole In One

Congratulations to Paula Arra who made her first ever hole in one today July 22. She hit a #7 hybrid from 142 yards to a front pin. Her husband, Jack was on hand to witness.

MGA Handicap Championship

36 holes of golf wasn't enough to determine this year's champion. Craig Dunlap and Brad Bostelman needed 2 extra holes to crown a champion with Brad coming out on top!  Congratulations to both Brad and Craig on a well played tournament.
