Junior Hole in One on a Par 4!

Congratulations to Michael Bednar on making his first Hole In One today during the Jr. Club Championship! He aced the Par 4 #13 from 155 Yards of Devlin! Not too many people can say their first ace was on a Par 4, but you can!

I think that deserves a raise in the allowance category mom and dad!   :)

Adidas Shoe Trade-In Program - Final Week

This is the final week for the Adidas Shoe Trade-In Promotion. Bring in your old golf shoes and trade them in for $25 towards a new pair of Adidas or Ashworth shoes! Old shoes can be any brand/style/condition. Limit of one $25 credit per new pair of shoes. 

Pinehurst Qualifier Champions

Congratulations to the team of Mike Manno, AJ Dinunzio, Kevin Huster, and Pat Aquila for winning the Acura Champions Classic Pinehurst qualifier this past weekend. The team racked up 171 points over two days to beat their quota by a margin of 35 1/2 points. They will represent Quail Hollow and compete against other Clubcorp club teams at Pinehurst in September. Congratulations guys! 

Pinehurst Finals update and a Hole in One!

Nine teams teed off for Round 1 of the Acura Champions Classic yesterday, and it's a tight race for the top spot going into the final round!  Going by the quota system, teams with the highest differential from their quota were as follows:

The leaders were helped immensely when Kevin Huster's 7-iron on Hole 15 of the Devlin course found the bottom of the cup for an ace!  As the tournament is a shamble format, that one swing gave his team a solid 12 points on one hole.  Congratulations Kevin! 

Ohio senior champion

Congratulations to Dick Homovec on winning the Ohio Super Senior Lefty championship. He shot 77 - 74. All of Quail Hollow is very proud of you!

Hole In One

Congratulations to Paula Arra who made her first ever hole in one today July 22. She hit a #7 hybrid from 142 yards to a front pin. Her husband, Jack was on hand to witness.

MGA Handicap Championship

36 holes of golf wasn't enough to determine this year's champion. Craig Dunlap and Brad Bostelman needed 2 extra holes to crown a champion with Brad coming out on top!  Congratulations to both Brad and Craig on a well played tournament.  

LGA Two-Woman Match Play Results

Congratulations to Michelle DeBaltzo and Liz Dunlap who took home the title of LGA Two-Woman Match Play Champions Saturday evening. The final match between Wendy Lodwick and Diane Ritchie went to a sudden-death 19th hole before the eventual champions were determined. It was a very well played match and congratulations are due to all. Well played ladies!  

Great shots, great scores

Congratulations to Dale Lefferts who made four birdies en route to a personal best 72 on the Weiskopf golf course today with the Dawn Patrol!

Also, congratulations to Dave Glass, who had his first career hole-in-one Tuesday, July 15th. He hit a 7 iron from 140 yards in the cup on hole #15 of the Devlin course. Bob Schmidt and Bob Dawson were on hand to witness the feat. Congrats to both of these achievements!

British Open Madness

Another major is this week which means we are doing another Madness! This week is the British Open and we will be taking entries in the Golf Shop.

Entries are $10 each with a max of 6 entries per person. Format will be 5 player picks by YOU with scoring done by combined Money List after Sunday. PAYOUT IN CASH!!!

Due to heavy rains, both courses will be closed today. We will reevaluate the Weiskopf course at 5:00. 

9 and Wine - August 1st

We are still looking to fill spots for the upcoming 9 and Wine couples event on August 1st. The event will be a 9 hole couples format with a wine themed dinner to follow. Entry fee is $55 a couple. Sign up in the golf shop!

Aces everywhere

Congrats to Rick Neigoot who aced number 9 of the Devlin course this past Sunday. He holed out with a utility wood from 180 yds. This is turning out to be a great year to be in the Hole-in-One club!
